IJAIMH is a forthcoming, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to advancing mental health research, care, and policy through the responsible and innovative use of artificial intelligence. Currently in the process of organizing its inaugural editorial board and preparing for its first Call for Papers, IJAIMH is committed to providing an elite, interdisciplinary platform for researchers, clinicians, data scientists, and policy experts to collaborate at the forefront of computational mental health innovation.At IJAIMH, artificial intelligence is viewed as a powerful tool — not the primary object of study — for addressing critical challenges in mental health. The journal's focus is on leveraging AI methodologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and digital phenotyping to improve mental health outcomes, enhance diagnostic precision, inform treatment strategies, and reduce global mental health disparities.We will welcome original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, methodological innovations, perspectives, case studies, and protocol papers that demonstrate rigorous scientific methodology, ethical integrity, reproducibility, and a clear translational impact on mental health research, practice, or policy.IJAIMH is dedicated to advancing mental health research and practice through the responsible and innovative application of artificial intelligence technologies.
